What We Don’t Talk About When It Comes to Suicidal Ideation

16 years old and unable to express my suicidal ideation
The final week of May 2019 saw me drinking around the clock and openly suicidal. I took the photo on the right moments before calling my parents from the other side of the country and telling them I wanted to die.

I took this 12 hours before writing this article. I am stressed and jobless and struggling with body image, but I am undeniably hopeful about the future.
